Time for a New View
Is it time for a new view? Sure is here! Before diving into this week’s post, here’s a bit about me. And, if you are seeking weekly, colorful paintings in your inbox (yay!), you can sign up here.
Onward to take a look at this week’s painting.
Why is it time for a New View
I started this painting two years ago. And, then put it aside. Since then, the view has changed…a lot. How? Well, that little yellow house with the red roof is gone. And the lot is cleared. At some point, we will have new neighbors and a new house next door.
But, for now, we have a big empty lot and lots of fun activity. Such as? It’s a great spot for birds to careen through. And, our neighbor has seen the resident coyote cruise by. And, the rabbits love it, too.
Here’s the painting. It’s 12 inches by 24 inches, painted in oils on panel.

What’s New with You
How are you gentle reader? Have you decided it’s time for a new view, too? If so, please do share in the comments here. I would love to hear from you!

Surprising angle on things, at least to me. I love that. Makes me think about what angle I look at houses, trees and other objects differently. This reminds me of faces in profile and other angles that don’t reveal all the details. Very fun!
