Invitation to Linger
Why offer an invitation to linger? I can’t wait to share. But before diving into this week’s post, here’s a bit about me. And, if you are seeking weekly, colorful paintings in your world (and why not, right?), you can sign up here.
Onward to take a look at this week’s painting.
Ideal Invitation
In my mind, there’s very little that’s better than a chance to take in a view of the seashore. So here’s your invitation to join me and linger at a view of the coast. This painting is 36 x 36 inches (ha-uge for me ;-D), painted in oils on gallery wrapped canvas(meaning it’s ready to hang). In fact, I’m excited to share that this painting will be on my gallery wall this Friday. But first here’s the painting.

See It in Person
Here’s your invitation to see this colorful work of art.

Wonderful painting, Julie! I love the colors and composition with the close by flora and faraway colorful sky and rolling waves. It definitely made me feel like I’m lingering at the beach. And I’m excited about the size, too! Have a wonderful time this Friday in Richmond! xoxo

Love this painting and it’s expansiveness, both figuratively and literally. Those grasses in the foreground add such richness to it.
