Calming Clouds
We are need calming clouds these days. Don’t you think? Before diving into this week’s post, here’s a bit about me. And, if you are seeking weekly, colorful paintings in your inbox (yay!), you can sign up here.
Onward to take a look at this week’s painting.
Ahhh Timeless and Calming Clouds
When life, news gets crazy (pretty much all the time these days, right?), I love looking up and seeing clouds. Why? Maybe because they are so beautiful, changing and, yes, calming. During a recent trip to MA I looked up and saw these clouds. This painting is 6×6 inches, painted in acrylics. Here it is:

I should also share that this sa-weet painting is all “dressed up” in a nifty frame, along with 9 more of my framed paintings, and will be on view this Sunday at the Forest Park Art Show.

Are You Wondering
If you’re wondering if there will be any beverages or munchies to help sustain you at this art viewing marathon weekend, the answer is “yes!” So please be sure to stop by and say ‘hello,’ I would love to see you in person this weekend.
And, whether you can make it to these shows or not, do share what you see in nature that helps you find your calm moments. I look forward to hearing from you!

Beautiful clouds in a luscious blue sky. That sky is not something seen often this past winter or spring so far. Glad you captured it when it was on display. Clouds are vehicles for my worries. A friend advised me a few years ago to put that or this worry on a cloud and send it away. That has helped time and again.
Wish I could attend both shows in person! Have a grand time!
Hi Beth, Thank you and – yes – I think there was a short window of time when we saw blue skies during my last visit in March. Ha!!! I love the idea of clouds as a vehicle for transporting worries away. And, it sure would be wonderful if you could be here. Ah well – thank you for being here and stay tuned! xoxo
Beautiful, as always, Julie. Such sensitivity to color and nature.
Hi Denise, Thank you so much! xoxo
Beautiful clouds, Julie! I enjoy the different types of clouds you juxtaposed as well as the depth you created; it feels like the bottoms are receding and the tops are emerging. I’m also excited about both of your shows – congratulations! xoxo
Hi Alexandra, I confess clouds do captivate me. Thank you for seeing the variety here. And, as always, thank you for your encouraging words of support on this creative journey we are on!!! xoxo
