Original Art in your Future
Is there original art in your future? Why yes, there is! Simply read on, gentle reader.
Before diving into this week’s post, here’s a bit about me. And, if you are seeking weekly, colorful paintings in your inbox (yay!), you can sign up here.
Onward to take a look at this week’s paintings.
Where is the Original Art in your Future
I’m excited to share that I have five paintings at the Diamante Arts & Culture Center; North Carolina’s oldest Latin/o/x Arts & Culture organization. See below for larger versions of all five paintings. Each painting is framed. And, they are ready to hang and for sale for $200. Any sales will benefit the Diamante Center. Ready? Here goes!

Interested to know the dimensions? Each painting is 6 inches by 12 inches and painted in oils on panel outdoors. The rocky coast views are from Maine. The sandy beach views are from the beautiful coast of North Carolina.
Where is the Show
Interested to know where the show is? It’s conveniently located for anyone living in the Raleigh/Cary/Durham/Chapel Hill North Carolina area.

More Original Art
And, there’s more original are that weekend, too! It’s Sunday, April 12th at the Brown House Gallery and called the Forest Park Art Show.

Both Shows are Fun
Both shows are sure to be fun and friendly. Why? First, they each offer paintings from local and regional artists.
The Diamante show displays the artwork from floor to ceiling. It transforms a traditional office building space into a salon style art event.
The Forest Park Art Show is in a beautiful (and beautifully maintained) grand, old house on Hillsborough Street in downtown Raleigh. So, if you love wandering through homes, you’ll love this show in a home turned into a gallery space.
And, lastly, both shows will have food, beverages, music and friendly people welcoming you. And, even though we all know this, remember looking at original art and mingling with people is so good for you. So, mark your calendar and stop by and say ‘hi.’ I look forward and will be delighted to see you.

Beautiful paintings, Julie. Your depiction of waves seems better than ever to my non-expert eyes. Hope the shows and sales are successful and fun!
