Gallery 20 Raleigh Relaunch

What is Gallery 20 Raleigh relaunch all about? Stay tuned gentle reader! But first, if you are new here and seeking weekly, colorful paintings in your world (and why not, right?), you can sign up here.

Onward to answer the Gallery 20 Raleigh Relaunch question and take a look at this week’s paintings.

Gallery 20 Relaunch

I’m excited to share that Gallery 20 is a new name for a gallery in downtown Raleigh. If you live nearby, please join the relaunch celebration this Friday, September 4 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at 20 Glenwood Avenue 27603.

All of these paintings will be on view at Gallery 20 and I would absolutely love it if you stopped by!*

Four of these paintings are 4×4 inches, painted on panel while on the sound side of Topsail Beach this summer. Each of these delightful gems are framed and ready to hang. The fourth painting on view above is larger, 9×12 inches, painted on Arches Oil paper and matted and framed.

*We are still on the road in our tiny camper, kayaking in Maine right now. Soon, we head further north to Canada. The weather has been so cool and beautiful here. Pinch me. All this to say, I sure hate to miss First Friday at Gallery 20 this month. But shazam, I look forward to being there for First Friday on October 2nd from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.

And, for those of you in Richmond, Virginia, I will be at Crossroads Art Center’s Art Opening with new work on view on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Also, while there, I will be painting at my gallery wall in Building 1 row 2, doing a drawing for a painting (winner chooses from a selection of my paintings on view) and would love to see you!

How Are You

What’s happening in your world, gentle reader? Are you, like me, hanging on to the last few late sunny days of summer? Or maybe you are ready for cooler days to set in, pronto! Either way, I hope you are well and would love it if you shared your news in the comments below.

  1. Wow. Whole lot of art going on in the next month or two. How great is that? Congratulations!

Love these sort of free-spirited paintings in this post. They make me smile and feel a cool breeze.
